エビングハウスの忘却曲線で
ご存知の方も多いと思うが、
人は何かを学んだ時、
1時間後には半分を忘れ、
1日後には67%、2日後には72%も
忘れてしまう。
なにか勉強しても
ほとんど忘れるのだ。
そういう生き物なのだから
仕方ない。
ただ、逆に考えると
みんなそうなのだから
復習すれば一定の
記憶には残り、それが
無意識にまで落とし
込めれば、勝手に
行動がついてくる。
人間は考え方だけでは
変わらず、それを行動に
移した瞬間から自分の
目標に近づき始める。
無意識に行動できるためにも
とにかく復習して、
復習して、
また復習すること。
なにかを学習した後
24時間以内に10分間の
復習をすると、記憶率は
ほぼ100％に戻る。
脳は寝ている間も
学習しているので、
寝る前ギリギリに
暗記したい英単語を
覚える毎日です。
